First Week!

This week in class, we were assigned to groups of three to research different fashion companies.  Most of these companies are very aware of what the fashion industry is doing to the environment and they are doing something or are working on making their process of doing things better.  Most of these companies also give back to the environment or their workers in one way or another too.  The company that my group is researching is Asos Africa.  This company works closely with their manufacturer in Kenya, SOKO, who also treats their company with this system of giving to their workers.  Asos Africa is all about their textiles being derived from Africa and they have a lot of prints on them.  The silhouette of these clothes are mostly free and loose fitted and they are also very affordable.  I am looking forward to learning more about Asos Africa!
